Welcome to KP-SADP

The Southern Area Development Project (SADP) is one initiative of the Planning and Development Department, Provisioning Peace, Justice and Socio-economic development through good governance, for three least developed and crises hit districts of KP i.e D.I Khan ,Tank and Lakki Marwat.

KP-SADP, a multifaceted development program,costing US$ 18 million(in grant) stems out of the strategic objectives of the Post Crises Need Assessment (PCNA) of GoKP, is funded and supported by the World Bank- Multi Donor Trust Fund (WB-MDTF) for KP and FATA.The key components of the project include:

  • ¬†Community Development Support
  • ¬†Community Driven Investment Program
  • ¬†Project Implementation Support

The focal agency is the Local Government and Rural Development Department, (LG&RD) through its PMU having sub-offices at districts and tehsils.

The street pavement work of brick-soling is in-progress in village Kotka Imam Din, Union Council Marmandi Aazim, District Lakki Marwat. Male Community Based Organization (MCBO) Falah Behbood Amman is engaged in this scheme with the technical & financial assistance of KP-SADP.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Southern Area Development Project (KP-SADP) conducted "Fund Admin & Contract Management Training" for community capacity building of district DIKhan in which total 120 members of 30 Community Based Organization (CBOs) participated.
