D.I Khan

Dera Ismail Khan situated on the right bank of the River Indus is the divisional headqurters of the southern districts of KP.It borders Punjab and Baluchistan provinces.Total area of D.I Khan district is 7,326 (sq km), with population density of 181 persons per sq km.While the total population of D.I Khan district is 1,329,456 in 2011-12.Agriculture and fisheries are the main sources  of livelihood of the rural population.The total cultivated area in D I khan district is 246,802 hectares

Highlights

The street pavement work of brick-soling is in-progress in village Kotka Imam Din, Union Council Marmandi Aazim, District Lakki Marwat. Male Community Based Organization (MCBO) Falah Behbood Amman is engaged in this scheme with the technical & financial assistance of KP-SADP.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Southern Area Development Project (KP-SADP) conducted "Fund Admin & Contract Management Training" for community capacity building of district DIKhan in which total 120 members of 30 Community Based Organization (CBOs) participated.
Students of Mass Communication Department, Gomal University DIKhan field activity at Vocational Training Center established by KP-SADP.
